Any chance Ian Stewart will be called up soon?

Postby shoelessjoetara » Sun Apr 20, 2008 10:33 pm

I really need a middle infielder and I am hoping that he are anybody else makes the jump from the minors pretty soon. I am in a 14 team mixed league so the pickings are slim. Any other stars still in the minors that I should be watching for. Any help will be appreciated.

No chance at all really. He's having a great start to the season but there's no place for him to play on the major league team and it'd be pointless for him to come up and pinch hit occasionally when he could be starting full time at third in AAA.

And I don't think he'll ever see any time at second base again - third base is his position, whether it's with the Rockies or another team will probably be decided next offseason.

Any other top middle infield prospects that may make the big team anytime soon?

All the more reason to pick up Barmes if you're in a deep league.
