This is perfectly fine. I don't buy into all this trade etiquette stuff. If you're helping your team, do whatever you need short of breaking the rules. Of course I'm all for fair play, but the etiquette stuff never really hit me as being all that important.

I do this all the time. A lot of times I don't have a droppable player, so I'll try and do a 2 for 1 so I can open up a spot for a free agent I want. Nothing wrong with trying to get some return from a player you drafted or acquired.

It looks worse if you try to trade people you just picked up on the waiver wire, but still not a big deal.
