I guess it never occurred to me until today that Cleveland is off to a very poor start. They are currently just a game ahead of Detroit and have a 7-12 record.
Sabathia's been horrible, but the rest of the pitching staff has been OK (Westbrook, Carmona, and Lee are pitching very well). The offense has struggled but there's too much talent in that lineup to continue at this pace.
Assuming Cleveland's pitching and hitting gets back to normal levels, will the bullpen be the complete downfall of this team? They've got a terrible pen, and that could keep them out of the playoffs in such a tough division.

Thank you for that, I guess. Now, do you have anything to say about the Indians- you know, the original topic- or are you just going to prove the people in this thread right about how obnoxious Cubs fans are?

Their pen isn't any where near horrible. They haven't pitched well so far this year, but RP depth was one of their strengths heading into the season. Pretty much all of the have pitched well below what they are capable of.
With all of the starting pitching depth that they have, they should be vying for a playoff spot. The Indians are much better positioned to make a come-back than the Tigers.
This could be considered a HOMER veiw but I really have always thought CC was over rated and this season will really prove it, I also think the tribe has been way over their heads the last few years, they have 2 OF positions that just dont produce at the plate lets not even go to second base( great defence) the league has found out Hfner cant hit inside pitching,, other then that they are great, Lee has turned it around, Carmona is solid as solid can be, Westbrook is very nice when he is on ( 65% of the time) nice relievers now that joe borring is gone. Second place finish this year , Tigers too tough
sportsaddict,keep em in their place
If there is baseball in heaven!!!! Be very aware of the starting lineup
