Not a big K guy, he's got 6Ks tonight, but I wouldn't rely on him to carry my team in Ks. He's a sinker ball pitcher and his pitches had great movement until the 6 inning, when he started to leave pitches up, probably due to fatigue, and the Marlins started to hit him hard.

He's not a good I would grab off the wire right now in a 12 team league, but certainly keep an eye on in deeper leagues.

hes good for 2 more starts before he gets injured again. i have watched himover his young career. will post solid era and whip numbers with low strikeouts, but will hurt his arm soon. there has to be better options out there.

im in an 18 team h2h league, both gorzelanny and hill are in the FA pool. who would u take with gorzo struggling with watever and hill being injury prone. they would be a 5th/6th starter for me

These are April updates on Hill. I dont know exactly whats wrong with him, but it sounds like an ongoing problem---and he is going out there to pitch while still feeling pain from his operations. I`d only pick him up to stash, not to use immediately.

Hill, Shawn SP WAS

"The 26-year-old right-hander had surgery on his right forearm, right elbow and left shoulder in November"

4/7
"It's been getting better, to be honest with you. It's not gone," Hill said about the pain. "I still have a little discomfort, a little tightness and that, but a very little of that sharp pain that I had, which I said before -- three weeks ago or whatever -- if I could just get rid of that stabbing pain, I would be content pitching the rest of the season with a little discomfort.

4/16
News: The Washington Post reports that Nationals SP Shawn Hill will come off the disabled list soon and is expected to start Saturday at Florida. "We'll make sure the week goes well and make a decision at the end of the week," GM Jim Bowden said. "But tentatively, I think that's what we're looking at." Hill says his injured forearm is still tight, however. "It's the same thing at this point, but it has gotten better each time out," Hill said. "And I'm throwing more and more each time, so it's not going away, but it is improving. I'm not bothered by it right now."
.....ain't nobody got nothing to say about a 40-degree day. ...

i'm not liking the arm problems, it reminds me too much of patterson. the guy is still feeling some pain but i think he's pitching through it.
