These are April updates on Hill. I dont know exactly whats wrong with him, but it sounds like an ongoing problem---and he is going out there to pitch while still feeling pain from his operations. I`d only pick him up to stash, not to use immediately.

"It's been getting better, to be honest with you. It's not gone," Hill said about the pain. "I still have a little discomfort, a little tightness and that, but a very little of that sharp pain that I had, which I said before -- three weeks ago or whatever -- if I could just get rid of that stabbing pain, I would be content pitching the rest of the season with a little discomfort.

News: The Washington Post reports that Nationals SP Shawn Hill will come off the disabled list soon and is expected to start Saturday at Florida. "We'll make sure the week goes well and make a decision at the end of the week," GM Jim Bowden said. "But tentatively, I think that's what we're looking at." Hill says his injured forearm is still tight, however. "It's the same thing at this point, but it has gotten better each time out," Hill said. "And I'm throwing more and more each time, so it's not going away, but it is improving. I'm not bothered by it right now."
.....ain't nobody got nothing to say about a 40-degree day. ...
