His pitch speed was down a touch the last inning.

Latest word is that it was precautionary to pull him early.

I'll believe precautionary when he doesn't miss a start.

Ben Sheets wasn't sure whether he'd need a stint on the disabled list after leaving Friday's game with what was described as right triceps tightness.
"It’s just sore," Sheets said, acknowledging he was a little worried. "It’s really sore. It’s kind of a crampiness in there." Sheets said it was bothering him going into the game, though that was hardly apparent from the way he was throwing. It's so early in the season that the Brewers would be foolish to take any chances, especially with Yovani Gallardo ready to come back and rejoin the rotation. Apr. 19 - 12:18 am et

Sheets "cautiously optimistic" about how the arm will feel today...

No definite word on Benny yet. Ned Yost just says that missing a game is a possibility for Sheets.

Good news. Sheets is going to see his Gynocologist Monday morning. I think it might be the same Gynocologist Rich Harden see.

FYI:

At least a DL stint will be retroactive to his last start. And what a noble gesture, offering to pitch through the pain! Maybe he can throw left handed.
