Be careful with Wade Miller

Postby prodpaul » Tue Feb 24, 2004 8:41 am

Got this from

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/player ... ?sport=MLB

Wade Miller revealed yesterday that he pitched the final month of last season with a sore shoulder.
"I think I had an impingement," Miller said. "I'd move my arm a certain way, and it just pinched, and I couldn't really do a whole lot with it. That was basically it." It doesn't appear that Miller ever underwent an MRI on the shoulder, so this could be a situation to watch this spring. If he's still having problems, he would become someone to avoid in fantasy leagues.

Thought you all might want to know.

I wouldn't avoid him too much. Watch how he does in ST.

The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Astros P Wade Miller arrived at spring training trimmer than he has been in several years. He weighed in at 216 pounds, nearly 10 pounds lighter than at the start of spring training last year.

Yeah definitely a player to watch in st. If he is healthy, he is golden.

I wouldn't be overly concerned, but I'd still keep an eye on him.
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I still think he will have a good year.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.
