Boston-area auction league opening

Our league is entering its third year. We have one opening for a new owner, taking over an established team with a great set of keepers. The owner should be from the Boston area since we like to get together frequently for "league meetings" at local drinking establishments. This is a great league with very active and obsessed owners. Heavy trading all season and off-season, and lots of fun.

- 14-team Mixed 5X5 auction league.

- $260 Salary Cap.

- League dues are $100 all of which goes to prize money (except for the hosting site fee)

- Roster is standard, except only one catcher, three bench slots, and a DL slot.

- We use the pay CBS Sportsline service.

- Up to 12 keepers per year, salaries for all frozen players escalate by $3 per year.

- Payout is very graduated, so you get a little money even if you only make 7th place.

- Auction is to be held in Cambridge on Saturday March 29 from Noon until 7 or 8 PM
