The Sims 3

I am embarrassed and ashamed to say...

I am a Sims fanatic.

I have always enjoyed the occasional video game, but was never completely sucked into one before this came along and I wish that I never had played the first Sims game. Since then it has cost me over $1000 to support this addiction with the endless stream of expansion packs that I mark out on. This past summer my girlfriend severely sprained her ankle so she was layed up for a week. When I came home after work one day she was sitting by the computer with her leg propped up playing The Sims 2. She has never looked so attractive...she then became addicted to the game. What has made the game so addicting for me was the custom content and the story telling. However, we did become bored with the game a few months ago and didn't even buy the last expansion pack, which is a big deal for us. I had not played the game in over 2 months.

Then I saw some screens of The Sims 3 and had a relapse, we both did.

i enjoyed playing the first sims game but only for limited amounts of time. i ended up getting bored, and i didnt see the big deal with all the expansions packs. i saw the sims 2 and while it looked very cool, never got around to playing it. im not big on "buying pc games" so thats the main reason why i havent played it.

I played the original Sims for a little while but I never really got into it. I eventually got bored of doing the same daily routines to keep all those bars full (hunger, sleep, etc)

The only "real life" sim games I've ever really gotten into before were the Harvest Moon games.

I liked the Sims but never played Sims 2. It was a really fun game but not one I ever really got hooked on. I might try Sims 3 out.

i was super hooked on the origonal Sims but when Sims 2 came out my PC couldnt handle it i played it a little when house-sitting for my cousin and enjoyed it for those few days. i'll possibly check out Sims 3 but it seems like any game i play i get obsessed for a few weeks and then never play it again.

im also a pretty big Sim fan, got tons of them for PS2, then baught sims 2 for PC, played it once, it was nothing as great as PS2 and the main reason why its stupid is because my computer couldn't handle it and was pretty slow. i've got lik 3 or 4 sims ps2 games, 1 wii and 1 DS, o and that dumb PC 1. Sims 3 looks pimp though
