News: Rangers SS Michael Young joined the walking wounded Thursday as he was held out a game against the Blue Jays because of a sore right calf. Manger Ron Washington said Young, who was replaced by Ramon Vazquez, was available to pinch-hit if needed.
Analysis: Young was just starting to heat up at the plate again before sitting out Thursday. He had five hits in his last 13 plate appearances after getting just one knock in his previous 15 at-bats. Young has two homers through 15 games and appears to have rediscovered his power swing. Good news for Fantasy owners since Young is already one of the top contact hitters in the game. Young is day to day at this point and a must-start Fantasy SS when healthy.
