Vetoable or even questionable? Howard, Webb, Hart, Verl.

Got this trade going in the league...an owner is vetoing it. It seems fairly decent to me, maybe slightly in favor on the Howard side (if that). Non keeper, by the way.

TEAM A gets Howard, Verlander, and Hughes

TEAM B gets Webb, CHart, and Hoffman

seems fairly even to me.

Definitely advantage Howard, but Hughes is essentially worthless at this point in a shallow non keeper league (i.e. 10 or 12 team MLB).

I'd give the slight nod to Webb over Verlander, and a big nod to Howard over Hart, but Hoffman comes a little closer to evening it out.

The team getting Howard clearly wins, but I don't think it's vetoable.

Full disclosure, I will rarely, as in almost never, veto a trade, but this one is far from ridiculous.

I think it looks ok.

One blue-chipper for 3 solid contributors... ain't nothing wrong with that. I don't even know if I agree that the Howard side wins.

I don't think the trade is vetoable, or even questionable. Both teams seem to gain something, Team A with more power and Team B with upgrade at pitching and saves. If you want to see a vetoable / questionable trade look at this trade I was able to get (The other owner proposed it and he did say he didn't like A-Rod / Yankees).

I disagree - I'd rather be on the Webb side of that trade. But it's not remotely vetoable...

Not vetoable. Heck I can't even decide on which side gets the better deal. I would lean towards Hart, Webb, and Hoffman being more valuable at the end of the year though.

Agreed...I'd take this side of the deal slightly as well...and it's not vetoable.

At this exact point in time, I'd say that the Webb side is definitely coming out ahead... I think I'd rather have Webb than Peavy at this very second (although HA no complaints for either). Hoffman has been a little bit of a liability on your ERA and WHIP, and the NL west IS much better on the whole this season, but he still has 4 saves even with all that so far, and you know he's gunna keep getting em, no matter what. The investment on Howard and Verlander can easily make the other guy a very happy owner in a week or two from now, so this trade is just a really good one for both imo.

Not vetoable. Howard is only slightly more valuable than Webb and that is trending to change.

The other pieces are quality players moving in both directions. Perfectly fair trade.
