Bourne is starting to hit(the steals are a given)

Bourne hit another HR today, and the BA is slowly creeping up each day.

His league leading 8 steals is still his real fantasy appeal though.

Bourne, in my opinion, will never hit lefties. This will keep him from getting 500ABs a year.

Check out his splits against LHP through the minors and into the Bigs, and you'll see that it is frightening.

His OPS against RHP is not the best either. He's not the guy I'd want in a keeper league, unless your league is big on steals.

Exactly!!! Why are you stressing over him hitting lefties? How often does he face a lefty?? I put in Fukodome or Reynolds.

hes not a power hitter, so his OPS will never be high. of course anyone who owns him does so for the steals, and anything else is gravy.

They're very, very easy to find. Try ESPN, Sportsline, or a number of other places.

Agree with Snakes. You don't draft Bourn for OPS. You draft him, knowing you're taking a hit in OPS and everything else, but figuring other guys can pick up the slack and it's worth it if Bourn makes you competitive in steals all by himself.
