Anyone know what happened to Tim Hudson? Only went 3 innings at 58 pitches. :-o

I read on the Braves website that apparently the flu bug has been going around the team.

Hudson was one of the guys who had it.

He tried to go tonight but obviously it just wasn't in the cards.

I think thats why Cox yanked him so early.

Not too sure how reliable the Braves website is but I'm hoping that this is what the problem was.

He had probably a 30-35 pitch 2nd inning, and his control/stuff just wasn't there at all.

Unfortunately he got the flu bug before his last start in which he went 8 innings 0ER 3 Hs 2BBs 5Ks so I doubt it didn't affect that start but affected this one....

Tired arm, he had no velocity on the fast ball, low 80's is why they shut him down for the day
