My team is struggling big time, players underperforming and getting injured.
Is it still too early to start trading away some of my top picks for more depth, mainly Braun, Soriano, Morneau, Roberts and Mauer?
Or should I take the whooping for a few weeks and see if things turn around?

You should definitely drop borowski and see if you could get a better CL, i would recommend George Sherill if he is still available, orioles closer. And you could also probably do better than patterson, he started off strong but seems to be cooling off, one of the young cardinals OF maybe...
Borowski is on his way out, I would pick up another closer... or even a really good setup guy. Look at Okajima or Shields if you can't get a closer, they'll bring down your era and whip with some k's and possible saves here and there.
I think it is too early to panic on any player in any format, it is not even 3 weeks into the season. Give it at least until May before you pull the cord.
You should wait on trading that big talent but i think you can do better with your bench and utility. Look at the waiver wire for guys that are on fire like Casey Kotchman, Mike Jacobs, maybe Jeff Keppinger. They might be able to help your offense until your big stars start producing.
Your infield is solid, don't do anything drastic with it unless you can upgrade some of your other positions. Outfield is pretty weak, especially with Soriano now injured.
I would suggest streaming hot players into your lineup and ride out their hot streaks. Drop some of your lower ranked slumping players for players that are playing well. You could even trade them when you feel that they will cool off and maximize their value. You have a lot of injured players that could be droppable because they are taking up valuable roster space. I play in public Yahoo leagues and I feel that you could drop Borowski, Rolen, Millwood, Qualls, Brocail, Pedro, Hendrickson, Patterson, Delgado (if he continues to struggle), Cuddyer (but he should be coming back soon). Pick up players such as McLouth, Reynolds, Jacobs, Nady, Kotchman, Crede, J.D. Drew, etc and either trade them while they are hot (if you think they will cool off) or ride them out until they go cold.
