Hope this helps some:
What I see is you're really workin with a few fringe fantasy guys that are prone to streakiness. I'm a sox fan and can tell you that Youk is an ideal #2 hitter, but unless your league tracks OBP, he's really not a solid fantasy option, especially because 1B/2B is so deep.
Your 2B situation is a little sketchy, well...i really mean Kent is a little sketchy..Yunel gives you some nice multi-positional help, but you don't really need that w/ Reyes lockin down the SS spot, so his value is a little lost on your team, but he's a nice 2B option due to a nice spot in the braves lineup. I expect him to outperform Kent this year... Kent is definitely downtrending.
I also have Mark Reynolds. I'm not sure what to make of his this year, I traded Dunn away for Guillen and picked up Reynolds to hopefully be an Adam Dunn redux and he sits soundly on my Util spot. Which is pretty much what I want out of my util spot, Pop.
So, it all comes down to needs, and in Roto, you just gotta hang in there. Dont worry about Youks seemingly uncanny ability to produce when dropped/benched, he's notorious for that. Stick w/ Escobar at 2B and slap Reynolds in the Util and if you can get anything for youk and/or kent...more power to ya.
If it's a 12 team league..then i wouldnt drop either of those guys since Escobar is no gaurantee and youk at least gives you backup at 1b and 3b should anything happen...he is a nice filler...
Good luck! Oh and hey.. a little help my way would be greatly appreciated!
