I guess this is good new.
The Daily Herald reports that plans to push Rich Hill's next start back a day have been cancelled.
Lou Piniella has never met something he didn't like to juggle. Hill and Jason Marquis were originally going to flip days in anticipation of the Cubs skipping Hill's starts when the scheduled allowed. That plan appears to be off for now.

Rotation roulette: Lefty Rich Hill got a "throw day" Monday, according to Lou Piniella, and Hill will start Friday's series opener against the Pirates. Originally, Piniella had indicated Hill would pitch Saturday, with righty Jason Marquis going Friday.
Now, the Cubs will go with Hill, Marquis and Ryan Dempster against Pittsburgh.
