61 years ago Jackie Robinson broke baseballs color line, but years earlier there was an attempt that was thwarted.

John McGraw, Manager of the New York Giants spotted a black infielder at a local diamond. He knew that a black man would never be allowed to play, so he attempted to pass off this infielder as a Cherokee named "Chief Tokahoma". Charles Comiskey thwarted this attempt as he recognized the infielder. Who was the infielder in question?
