Please Help My Pitching Staff! *WHIR*

Here's my pitching staff, and it's really holding me back in terms of ERA and WHIP.

Do I need to panic just yet?

Here's who I have:

SP John Smoltz
SP Dan Haren
RP Francisco Rodriguez
RP Manny Acosta
P Masa Kobayashi
P Brandon Lyon
P Matt Cain
BN Tony Pena
BN A.J. Burnett
BN Rafael Soriano (DL)
DL Mark Prior

Is it even worth hanging on to Prior at this point? Also, who do I need to drop, trade, or pick-up? Do I even need Pena there, even though he's my handcuff for Lyon? I'm -17 IP, do I start streaming starters?

I feel like most of your pitchers are shaky with the exception of K-Rod. Aging has to be a concern with Smoltz, Haren isn't an ace i think, Burnett and health go hand in hand. If you can get one of the Red's young guns (Cueto or Volquez) would be nice. Micah Owings could be a nice pickup or Randy Wolf.

I would drop Prior. No one is going to waste a DL spot on him now. Pick back up in 3 weeks when Soriano comes off if you want. Not sure how big your league is but have you tried Shawn Marcum? He posted respectable numbers DESPITE a horrible September last year. ANd that was because he wasn't used to being a starter. Now he's off to a great start since his goal is well in mind.

I'd keep Pena. Lyon wont last the month. Keep an eye on Qualls too.

I really like Haren. Guys who pitch well in the AL and then move to the NL tend to get even better.
