Kobayashi or Acosta

Postby PavanoAllstars » Tue Apr 15, 2008 2:57 pm

Who should I drop?

Our league counts holds, so i've got:
closers: putz, nathan, jones
set up: betancourt, neshek, acosta

should I drop any of these guys for Kobayashi? Is Betancourt going to stay as an 8th Inning guy?
For every Brett Myers there's a Nate McLouth...

I consider dropping Acosta. I'm not sure he gets many saves or holds he can get in the future. I'm fairly certain Kobayashi and Betancourt will have lots of saves and holds for your team.

Acosta because he's more likely to be a closer.

Kobayashi only has a chance to be a closer as betancourt should get the job.

Wedge just said in an interview during BP today that Betancourt will be the Indians closer while Borowski is out.

see the borowski thread for more info if you want.

I'd go with Acosta at this point if Atlanta can start scoring runs.

Acosta's run at closer will be short-lived as reports have Soriano probably coming back in the very near future...
