Certainly we do not know what he looked like, but we can surmise from the way people in general looked back then. We do know that he wasn't blond-haired and blue-eyed, that's for certain. Like Art said - the European image of Jesus tends to crack me up, too. Of all things, he did not look like the image in that pic up top. :-b

How do we know anything? With stories of arks, parting seas and burning bushes, it's kind of hard to consider the Bible an accurate historical document.

I have no problem with the bullets. I have a problem with the lack of humility he's showing by wearing the giant cross around his neck. Yeah, I know you died for my sins... you don't have to rub my nose in it. :-B

Having a little bling bling is fine, but I think a nice "sheep" charm would have been more appropriate.

Being born in the Middle East of Jewish descent in the Roman Era, Jesus looked nothing like that. He was likely about five feet tall, with bushy, curly brown or black hair, with a curly beard and olive to dark olive-colored skin, brown eyes and likely he had a prominent nose.

He was not what this image looks like. Not in the least.

that image in the window looks like what many portraits of Jesus portray him to look like.
