A.J. Burnett?

In all honesty, is it worth it to move Burnett in a deal for Sabathia? The CC owner is fed up and I am frustrated with AJ. Sabathia likely to improve enough to get the nod over AJ this year?

i won't dwell on it much b/c this is an AJ forum, but the precise deal is my Burnett and Soria for Sabathia and Yunel Escobar (I need him for 2B).

Burnett faced his locker for 28 minutes after the game before speaking to reporters. He said he had not felt good on the mound his past three starts and has gone 1-2 with an 11.30 ERA. He has allowed eight runs in two of those starts. It's not good to hear a pitcher doesn't feel right on the mound because it could mean he is battling some sort of injury. And that's never a good thing with Burnett since he has a history full of injuries. Burnett has all the stuff to be a reliable high-end Fantasy SP, but right now is a risky option. His next scheduled start is for Wednesday against the Reds.

Injuries are always a concern with Burnett but as an outsider it seems to me like he doesn't want to be in Toronto.

he's really hard to stay with..

he is having un unstable year, but with 91 strike outs he is tempting. i picked him up off the FA market then dropped him after he let in 8 runs last week.

i am thinking about picking him up again, but wondering if he is playing like crap so he gets traded to chicago.

I'm not sure how highly he's rated to justify that comment; he's had some fine seasons in the past. When he's going good he's pretty good, and when he's not he's usually not healthy.

Me, I cut him loose in one league, but in my deep league there are no other alternatives, but I'll probably bench him at least the next start or so.
