Bit by the injury bug

Postby Foul Pops » Mon Apr 14, 2008 2:17 pm

Who else is decimated by injuries? I lost Ty Wigginton and Shane Victorino last week --- they join a bench that includes DL Alex Gonzalez and Jack Wilsn, and two minor leaguers in Headley and Maybin. It's gotten so bad that I've been forced to add Geoff Blum and John Bowker just to field a team this week. :-o

I have Kazmir, Putz and Soriano on the DL right now. Rollins is hobbling around with a bad ankle. Not good.

Deep NL only league:

Wigginton
Dave Roberts
Connor Jackson (ok now but missed lots of ABs with flu, hand)
JR Towles (out for a few days)
Rollins
E. Dukes (yes marginal, but a $3 sleeper who at the time I thought would take advantage of Pena being out.)
Shawn Hill

Its still early, and I've got the best pitching points in the league so far, keeping me in the middle of the overall pack. So all is not yet lost.
