Its really a pick'em for me....if you want a few extra SB go with Cabrera, if you want a few extra HR go with Renteria. They should be pretty close in overal value though.

In 2 leagues and have them as my SS in different teams. Shows that I waited on SS doesn't it. I do agree that they are VERY even. Tulo just got dropped in one league and I put in a claim for him. IF I get him, hopefully (In time) he will take over for Cabrera. Flip a coin IMO.
Cabrera will beat Renteria easily in runs and sb's. Avg. and HR's should be similar. Renteria will probably win RBI's but even that will be relatively close.
i regret drafting renteria this year and not just because of the slow Tigers start. he won't be increading his homers and doesn't steal much anymore anyway. i'm also worried that gaudy avg from last year will come crashing down. last time he went to the AL he stunk. i would trade him for cabrera right now if i could.
I just dropped Renteria for Cabrera, since I traded away Carl Crawford to get more power in my lineup. So, the extra SB's Cabrera will offer are welcome.
Thanks, guys!
