Or is this just wishful thinking since I grabbed him off waivers?
Apr 13 Jacobs went 2-for-5 with a double Saturday, giving him four straight multi-hit games.
Recommendation: He's now hitting .298 (14-for-47) on the season with five home runs and 10 RBI, numbers similar to his splashy 2005 debut with the Mets when he hit .310 with 11 HR in 100 at bats. He'll won't keep it up all season, but enjoy the hot streak while it lasts.
------ I guess the yayhoo "experts" don't seem to think so.

I picked him up up as a flyer but at 27 he'll have to prove it before I trust him. I bet its just a hot start and he'll level out. But he has mucho power potential and the possibility of him finally turning the corner isn't out of the question.
