I'm with Mad, it's not like it cost him anything to acquire, it pays off those medical bills, then maybe puts one of the guys' kids through college... or he can buy a house with it, and rent it out... it's a nice bonus for him, he doesn't need to gamble on being a millionaire, this still likely improves his life a lot. You have to think, if he holds onto it, then he has to live as normal until he sells.
