I wouldn't. You'd only be helping them go out of business. Free sites get paid by the ad companies for ads being shown (it's not much, but website hosting/costs are not free). Using a blocker eliminates that revenue, and with no revenue, free sites go bankrupt.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

True, but at some point many sites become so overwhelming with advertising that I do not feel bad blocking their ads. If they go bankrupt because of this then it is simply due to bad business sense and i guess I would have to find an alternative. I'm also the type of person who prefers to pay or donate to a site and not have to put up with ads. This is also why I have canceled cable and stick to only DVDs through Netflix.

To each their own, I was just pointing out something that quite a few people are unaware of. Really doesn't make any sense to me for people to shoot themselves in the foot. Take the site in question, they've got updated rankings, which are valuable because very few sites do that. So people benefit from the rankings, but then those same people block the ads which can lead to them going out of business (meaning no more updated rankings)? Just doesn't really make sense. I mentioned it mostly because there are quite a few people who don't think about it in that respect.
As to "bad business sense", that's highly arguable, but I doubt any good could come from that discussion, so I'll leave it be.
