ARLINGTON, Texas -- Toronto activated closer B.J. Ryan from the disabled list on Sunday. The left-handed Ryan has not pitched since April 14 of last season after undergoing Tommy John elbow ligament reconstruction surgery on May 10.

Jays just took the lead in the 10th........and Ryan is warming up in the pen, so keep an eye on the boxscores, as he should be getting his first action of the season here shortly.

Shut down the next three in order, to secure his first save in over a year.

He didn't give up a walk.........the only person to reach base was Byrd, on a lead off tripple.

what's that? The sound of jeremy Accardo being dropped in most leagues. Be careful, if I were an owner of Accardo, I'd hold on to him. I doubt the Jays will be comfortable letting BJ go back-to-back for at least another few weeks so there are still some save opps for him.
