My argument is that he's having issues with pressure situations.
I think the Yankees bring a little of that to every game.

I tried trading for him two games ago, but the owner in the end was able to stand his ground.

He pitched great. In the 7th he gave up one hard-hit ball and was beat by a bunt single, a dribbler through the infield, and a ball that Franklin Gutierrez flat dropped in right (which was bizarrely ruled a double). Even then, only one run had scored when he left but the bullpen imploded and let everybody home.
The only bad thing to take out of that game was that CC is awful at covering first on ground balls. But I think we could have guessed that.
