Near the end of last season, I believe I heard that Young was having some back issues, which explains the poor finish. I haven't heard what's going in after his first few starts this year. His velocity is down and his location is off. TBH, I'm a little worried that there's something wrong. Hopefully I'm wrong and is just getting off to a slow start.

Young is not an inconsistent pitcher in essence that you don't know what you're going to get each time out. He led the entire MLB in ERA for a while last year.

Young will pitch Saturday instead of Friday because of tightness in his elbow, the Associated Press reports. Greg Maddux, who had been scheduled to pitch Saturday, will take Young's start Friday.

I was pretty high on him last year until his back problems flared up. Was targeting him when I was drafting but he got taken by another team. Now I got an offer to trade Oswalt for him straight up. Do you guys think this is a fair deal?
