Fantasy Fans Rejoice

At least I hope you will rejoice. Much like you guys, I am probably a little bit too obsessed with fantasy sports. So obsessed that I made my own fantasy website that will give me player news and stats on my cell phone when I'm not home. I know you must be thinking I am crazy or this is just some lame attempt to spam, but hear me out pretty please.

Basically, the service works by text messaging an email address and getting a reply back with the info you want. So lets say you are at a bar, but want to know how long Posada is going to be out for, or if he's gonna play DH. Simply text "nL pos nyy" to mlb@fantasy-news.net . Or maybe its player stats that you want about a certain player. Let's say you are curious about how horrible ortiz has been doing lately. Just text "sf david bos" to mlb@fantasy-news.net. (If you've noticed, the "F" and "L" stand for first and last name searches).

This service is completely free and is currently undergoing beta testing (which is why I am here). Please try and test it out for me and provide feedback if such a service would be useful. In the future I can add things like top 5 shortstops of the week, month, or even day. It is completely up to you, if its something you would find useful.

If you were the one with a sprintpcs phone. . .try sending the command again when you get a chance. So far it seems only verizon wireless works 100% of the time.

Live numbers aren't possible at the moment because that would cost me a heep of money. The boxscore stats get updated once per day in the morning.

I am still trying to work out why att users get no love.

After that I am going to work on a trade analyzer. . .
