Yeah they've been talking that way for a while now. With both Martinez and Bard with the big club, and Lake in the minors the Indians appear stacked at C. I would look for Martinez to get most of the time behind the plate, but also to see time at 1B and DH....
I would agree that this could bump up his value a bit......

that time will be varied as broussard and hafner are currently set to split time at dh and 1st against all pitching.

Hey, Peter Gammons' latest ESPN.com column lists Victor Martinez as a LHP. The guy is VERSATILE!
