I wouldn't want him...he's numbers have been decreasing over the four years. He isn't the pitcher he was in o4/05 anymore. He was overvalued going into this year based on his name alone. If you own him, I think you still can get value for him...

I'm just wondering if I should use my #5 waiver on Roy Oswalt? I'm thinking someone who is better then him will be on the waiver wire soon so I don't want to give up my position easily.

That said, I could use the pitching. Was he really a bust in '07?

Do not listen to the negative Nancys.

If he is not hurt he will be a top 30 pitcher by year end.

Plus he is known to be a second half pitcher.

I will be the first to say he has lost something.. and his ability to miss bats has declined.. but he has not fallen off this badly...

Grab him stash him and smile when he heats up.

I agree with the above post. It is much too early to judge somebody "lost it" based upon 3 starts. Was it 3 brutal starts?!? Yes! But Oswalt will still put up decent numbers this season. I have him in two leagues and I am starting him in both leagues ... even against the Phillies @ Philly. Big risk? Yes, but I have complete faith in him that he will turn it around tonight and pitch decent.

Well, Oswalt rewarded me with a heck of a start and i'm glad i rolled the dice... though I admit i turned away from the stat tracker for the WHOLE game

hopefully he's turned a corner, and if nothingelse his line looks encouraging, especially at philadelphia against that line up... keep it up roy!
