He has been losing value for 3 years k/9, velocity ect.. but he is NOT this bad.

He has been very unlucky.

I'd say an extreme buy low...pitchers just don't fall off of the map like this. Side note: between Oswalt and Francis, I have a team ERA of over 5.50 and a WHIP of 1.6...AYE CARUMBA! HA!

Oswalt can't possibly have fallen this far from grace, and he definitely had good velocity and his breaking pitches last night... so i'm not going to move him and I also may keep on starting him, he had two dominant innings last night, then the wheels fell off... but he can't give me 4 bad starts in a row... could he???

anyone see him pitch? i didnt but was wondering if his breaking pitches were working. He's admitted to not having his breaking pitches this year so far, so I was wondering if the marlins found out after going through the batting order. i saw him have somthing like 4 k's through 2 innings and thought i had it good for my team, then saw the 18 era or whatever and wondered if that's what it was. i'm inclined to not start him until he performs better, but of course ill miss a good start or two if he gets back to normal. ill check the game commentary section to see if there are any comments from pple who watched the game. i'm benching him til i find out more.

Oswalt was a bust in '07 and well on his way to one in '08......steer clear.

As an owner, I'm holding - since there's no value to gain from dealing him right now.

That said, he's on the bench until he turns a corner. Along with Hill. And Hughes.

i haven't seen him pitch outside of his game against SD to start the season, but i thought he pitched pretty well in that one. san diego went dink and dunk on him more than i thought was their fair share. some of those hits that fell in were just criminal.

other than that his babip is .400+ and he's averaging 2.5 HR/9 despite a 50% ground ball ratio. it has only been three games, so those numbers don't mean tons, but i'd say all signs point to a turnaround. he's not this bad, so i'd buy if you can.
