Eugenio Velez

I just want to know what some of you think of Eugenio Velez. I know that right now he isn't playing everyday, but when you steal 13 or 16 bases in the Spring and you play for a team like the Giants, how could you not play by the end of the season. If he gets everyday time I can see him stealing 50-60 bases in a season. I am trying to get him in a trade in my 16 team keeper mixed league right now in hopes that he starts to play. What do some of you think of him and what he can/will do this year?

I am trying to obtain Velez or Gomez in a trdae. I am in need of SB and think Velez would be a great addition once he get every day playing time. Gomez is already there!!

He hasn't been in the last two games, after playing almost every day for a while. Does anyone know if he's supposed to be back in there on a semi-regular basis, or should we just get used to this platooning/utility stuff?

I know the germans think that Velez will be the bomb this year, too many old guys and unproven players in the lineup not to get his fair share at some point

A lot of it hinges upon whether Durham either gets hurt or continues to struggle. If the guy starts hitting, they'll play him as you can't justify his salary sitting on the bench.
