I've gotten a lot of different opinions. My league is a first year keeper. 11 teams. 23 man rosters
253 total players
How long can we expect?

6-8 hours, depending how prepared people are and if you take a break in between or not. Mine is the same as yours accept we have a 5 man minor league snake draft at the end, and it usualy goes 7-8 hours...

As the commissioner, I came into my 14 team 23 man roster auction VERY organized.
We did not take many breaks (usually a minute or two inbetween rounds: this is how my fellow owners wanted to do it).
Our draft took about 5 hours.
If you or your commissioner takes the time to plan on approaching the draft with time as a scarce resource, you can make your draft go even faster.
Let me know if you want some tips on how to make things run smoothly.

Yeah, we took about 5 min. between rounds and then about a half hour lunch break, and another half hour before the minore league draft to get ourselves settled...None of really cared how long it took and we all had the entire day put aside for it, so it wasn't rushed. Out league had 12 teams btw..

We had 21 players apiece....16 teams = 336 players at our online auction.
Took us about 6 - 6.5 hours.....and we went as quick as possible -- No glitches, only 2 10-minute breaks for smokes/food/drinks, etc..

6 hours? I'd say more like 12-13, you'll need 2 days
Baseball is a game where a curve is an optical illusion, a screwball can be a pitch or a person, stealing is legal and you can spit anywhere you like except in the umpire's eye or on the ball. ~Jim Murray
