Anyone sitting Ortiz tonight?

He has owned Wang, and I rarely ever sit my first 3 round picks, but my friend also owns him in another league and says he's sitting him!!!!

For my part... no freaking way (not yet at least )

There was an interesting discussion the other day about benching stud players. I fall under the category of "never benching studs (Ortiz/Cabrera/A-Rod, etc), but am okay with benching solid players (Maggs/Atkins, etc)". I personally wouldn't bench Ortiz, but I can understand if you did bench him until he gets the timing back in his swing. That knee may be bothering him quite a bit.

I might consider benching a stud SP in extremely unfavorable conditions (start in Coors against hard-hitting Rockies lineup) but never a stud hitter.
