What do u guys think of this guy Eveland , Was he the main part in the Haren trade that OAK got back

Eveland has a solid minor league career although he walks a few too many batters for my tastes. He's averaged over 3+ BB/9 from his AA, AAA, and MLB career, not counting his AA cup of coffee in 2004. I would not expect him to get a lot of run support with Oakland. Nevertheless, he's probably a serviceable pitcher if you need a #5 starter in a deep league and has upside (plus surprise factor).

Thanks i agree with what u said when / if liriano comes back eveland is going to be my 6th starter im in a 12 team keeper league my starters are

he is not going to keep this up forever, but ride him while you can.

I think he's worth a flier in a 12 teamer. He gets BAL next time out so that should be a good spot start at least, unless of course the O's are for real!
