I'm wondering if you guys think he is the real deal. He's had 2 very good starts and another comingup against san francisco. Do the cardinals really like him? What you guys think??

I have no clue about this guy, but the SF offense can make anyone look like Cy Young these days... he's definitely worth looking at for a spot start this week if you need it.

3 or 4 years ago there was a lot of people who were high on Wellemeyer as a prospect. Cueto is this years Wellemeyer or something like that.

Wellemeyer never arrived as a Cub and few have been high on him since.

He always had talent - he never really achieved. There's always hope.
