What do you guys think of him?

He has a bad ERA but thats because he got shelled in his first start, he went 6IP 3Hits 0ER 2BB 10K against San Diego tonight. I was watching the game and the guy is nasty.

I had an open spot and jumped on him, im in a points league and K's are 2pts so big K guys are worth A LOT. He has 18k in 10IN.

Sanchez is definitely a K guy. However, he still does not have much durability due to being a reliever the last couple years. His stuff is great, but as soon as he allows baserunners, it unravels really fast. Definitely a decent risk.

He pitched wonderful last night against a sub par hitting team. Yes they have Adrian Gonzales, and Kouz, and Greene when he's on. But against MIL he was rocked, and rocked hard. The K's will be there but his ERA will stay in the high 4's. Plus in the majors he has tended to walk a lot of batters, which wasn't a problem for him until the high minors. In the majors he has a 95/51 K/BB ratio. That is without the last two starts this year, but even so that would still make it under 2/1. If you need the K's but have others that are going to keep your WHIP and ERA down in most fantasy leagues, he could be more of a hindrance, than beneficial.
