I see Price and Talbot. But who knows, Niemann could be put in the pen they could deal Garza who knows.
Talbot is not a option if we ever want to compete for a AL East title. This offseason is the offseason to trade Kazmir, if that is our plan, but I still think he turns into a monster this year, and we give him a contract.
My guess right now for the 2009 starting rotation.
Kazmir Niemann Garza Shields Price
Davis will be ready as well, so we do have options. One of those 6 could become a star closer ala Papelbon. Jackson(if this continues) would also allow us to improve an area of the team that needs some help.
What do you think of Ruggiano? He has looked real solid at the plate against lefties so far and outside of the one gaff his first game in the bigs this year has been real solid in the field. I saw that he was first person since Ron Gant in the mid eighties to go 20/20 for Durham, when he did it last year. I have heard he is Jason Bay "light". Should the Rays give him more time instead of Haynes?

I would like to see them keeping him up to give him a chance, if anything he is a solid PH. and a better fielder than Gomes and Floyd.
Why is that? Bay is proving so far that his knee was the only thing holding him back last year. I think if before last season someone told you a guy was a Jason Bay light, we would be very ecstatic

More time then Haynes--Yes Possible key part of our team this year--Should be Key part for the future--In a certain role, he could be, but not as a starter.

Haynes has to be gone when Kaz comes back. Doesn't he?
We have 12 pitchers now with 13 bats. I wouldn't think Maddon would go with 13 pitchers and only 12 hitters, so it is possible he doesn't move down next week either.
