Read a note that said Soriano is experiencing elbow issues. Who would be next in line if Soriano is shelved? Boyer?
Just trying to beat the vultures in this deep league.

Bobby Cox has anounced that Manny Acosta is the closer while Soriano is on the shelf - read it in the AJC today

Cox has not "named" Acosta the fill-in closer. Moylan had pitched 3 days in a row and was unavailable.

Rafael Soriano is battling elbow soreness, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
He experienced the soreness after pitching Saturday and Sunday against the Mets, and that
is why he sat in favor of Manny Acosta on Monday. Manager Cox said he is not taking any
chances, and decided to go with Acosta in the closer's role. Soriano notably suffered from
elbow soreness during training camp, and we will continue to monitor him.

I would bet on Moylan. Acosta will set up.

For what it's worth, I'm watching the Braves/Nats game, 1 - 0 Braves in the top of the 9th. Hudson will probably finish the game off but it's Moylan that's warming up in the pen

Moylan finished off the game and got the save with 2 K's and no hits. He's the guy for now

this AJC guy must also write for yahoo, who seemed to guarantee that it'd be acosta despite the situation being very murky, causing a mad rush to the wire for acosta by owners who are prob not very happy today. first save opp: moylan. he's likely the man until soriano is back.
