I would pretend to be disgusted by that statistic, but who am to talk? I probably spend half my online time on this site.
Never had a myspace or facebook profile. It's funny, I used to worry about putting too much info about myself on the Internet through sites like this one. Then along comes facebook- suddenly I have no more worries.

Yep, me too. Between here and the Football Cafe, I'm on here all the time.
I don't think that's right. Maybe they have their decimal point in the wrong place and it is 1.1%. I don't know anybody who is that in love with MySpace.

I never had a Myspace profile (I actually had to have one at a previous job ) and I canceled my Facebook account a long time ago, but I'll probably have to revive it so I can post one of those annoying Facebook widgets. Double The only social networking site I use is Linkedin, but I rarely check that.

Same here... Well, I have a MySpace and Facebook account, but they're only there for people to find me. LinkedIn is the only one I check, and I, too, check it very infrequently.

I have students who are literally addicted to MySpace and sit on it for 5-6 hours a day. I had a student tell me last week he was so tired in my class b/c he is up til 12 - 1 AM on it every night, sometimes from 3 - 4 in the afternoon, and could not fathom not doing that every single night. It's pathetic, yet scary.
