Get rid of phelps and crede for a third reliever. I'm not predicting a good year for Garcia again after last year's flop. I would move him, Sabathia, and even Crosby for a better backup or upgrade to Matsui at short. Your team looks pretty good. I'm presuming it's a 5X5 league. I like yoour OF 's too. Winn in very underrated. Burrell should be able to post better numbers this year than .209BA. Kearns could have a great yaer if healthy. If Kearns goes 150 games this year I see 25-30 hrs, and 100rbis. Who's available on the WW/FA market?

Entered your roster into my 2004 Mock Draft Software Program, and let the computer draft for the other 9 teams. I let the computer draft with the pre-rankings of the ESPN Live Draft Average, which makes the computer draft similiar in skill to the average joe. On this setting most good teams come in first place. If I run it letting the computer use it's AI algorithm for drafting most teams finish in the bottom half of the draft. as you can see from the projected results, your team is weak in all of the ratio categories. Of the non ratio categories, Runs, SBs and Saves are the only things that could use some improvement.

I'm not sure I would be too quick to dump Phelps. I feel he is primed for a very good year! However you do need to do something about your lack of Closers.......Agreed that you shouldn't expect much from Garcia. I really don't think he's as good as people were thinking he was a couple years back.....
