This is my 1st sportsline team

C- Loduca, Mauer
1B - Derek Lee
2B - Vidro
3B - Lowell, Mueler
SS- Valentine
OF - Pujlos, Walker, Dunn, Gibbons, Patterson, Byrd
U - Sweeny
P - Halladay, Schmidt, Vazquez, Mulder, Mantei, Looper, Maddux, Leiber

you have a very very good staff, you might want to think about dealing some of your SP for an upgrade at SS, you might also want to acquire a third reliever to pick up some saves maybe like a Nathan or a Rhodes or Borowski or you could go lower and get someone like a Julio or Graves

Very solid.

You don't need Sweeney at Ut. He could probably be traded for a better SS - then you could pick up Phelps or Fulmer for your UT position.

If you could also get rid of Looper and Leiber for a better closer you would have a great team.

I really like your pitching but your offense is not very good. Try to make some trades to improve your offense.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Pretty good all around, except SS, as noted before. I'm also not overly fond of your OF, although there is a lot of talent there. Virtually every OF you have has question marks except Pujols.

Walker - WHEN (not IF) does he get injured?
Dunn - Can he raise that AVG? It needs to come up a lot for him to have significant value.....
Patterson - Is he fully recovered from last season's injury?
Gibbons - Is he for real and where does he bat in the O's revamped line-up?
Byrd - Sophmore slump ahead?

Still a very strong team with an excellent rotation, good variety of skills amongst the batters and a good bullpen. (although, could use another reliever or two)

Just some things to think about.....
