Long term upside is obviously with Upton, but a better question is which of these two players is more likely to break out this year and have more value?

I'd gamble on Upton for this year. He needs to move up in the order to obtain good value, which I think will make him a better 2nd half player. I read an article that said it was likely to happen at some point - but I suppose if he really struggles he could continue to bat in the bottom of the order. Snyder was moved out of the 5 hole so I suppose nothing is set in stone there.
Reynolds started off hot last year too, then fizzled before recovering again. He's a bit streaky so until he can deliver consistently I'd go with the vastly higher upside in Upton.
