Only real news to come out of Bob Melvin’s pregame scrum was that he reiterated that Randy Johnson isn’t locked in to return April 14. If he thinks he needs another minor league start, the team will have no qualms about giving him another start.

Well, since they're playing SF on the 14th I'll assume that was the additional minor league start Melvin was referring to.

I snagged him in the league where my pitching is already limping as it is. With Kazmir and Lackey already hurt I figured I'd grab him for the two start week against the juggernaut offensive clubs of San Fran and San D. Even if he doesn't start at all I'll take 0 points over a negative week from Arroyo
