Manny is killing the ball right now, he is well on his way to earning that 20 million dollar option. BTW, last year Man-Ram did not hit his first homer until April 19th.

Is Manny under a little pressure right now? He just got tossed in the second inning for arguing a called third strike. Normally Manny just walks back to the dugout, but it seems Manny is complaining a lot more this year.
But the end result: no homers today.

I think it might have had something to do with Jed Lowrie getting squeezed earlier in the game. Regardless, not a smart move especially since it's likely that he will be given the day off tomorrow. It would have been pretty sweet if he went Chipper Jones and had back-to-back days with 2 HRs. 500 HRs on Marathon Monday would have been pretty sweet.
