Jimmy Rollins was removed from Tuesday's game in the eighth inning with an apparent leg injury.

Rollins singled and scored in the top of the eighth, but he was clearly limping while coming around from second base

certainly not good news. Anyone with anything to add? maybe on the severity of the injury or if they said what it was on tv?

Rollins left Thursday's game in the bottom of the eighth inning with a sprained left ankle.
Spin: It was still a pretty close game at the time, so until we find out more there will be some initial fear Rollins could have to miss a few games. Eric Bruntlett replaced Rollins at shortstop.

mild ankle sprain. he twisted it on a pickoff attempt at 2nd base - then a couple pitches later came in to score on utley's double. then they pulled him when he got back to the dugout. fingers crossed but probably 2 or 3 games at worse. i think he'll play wednesday.

Just a mild ankle sprain? Phew. I don't mind Rollins sitting a few games if that's all he needs.
