On CBS sportsline it says that he has a sore thumb and that could explain his troubles hitting. How long has this been a problem. This is the first I had heard of this. I am hoping that this is the cause of his struggles. Anyone with some insight is greatly appreciated.

i dont know much about his thumb, but he seems to be a very slow starter. i dropped him to pick up kelly johnson and will probably pick him up again in a month or so when i expect he'll start to warm up a little bit
