12 teams vs. 14 teams

Postby grammysboy » Sun Feb 22, 2004 9:02 pm

I'm in the midst of one of the auction league drafts here at the Cafe. It is the second one I've done this year. The first was only 12 teams, this one is 14. I'm noticing that bidding on some players dropped off much more quickly in the 12 team than in the 14 team league. Is it normal for players costs to go up dramatically when leagues are expanded?

More teams means less players to go around....it is not uncommon to see player prices go up when an auction league expands.... :-)
