Johnson simply missed his window of opportunity a couple years back because of injury. He is now at best a mediocre pitcher with little to no fantasy value

As a loyal Tiger fan, I bleed navy blue and orange in the form of Olde English Ds (kinda like blowing smoke rings -- its pretty sweet), all of my childhood fantasies of playing MLB took place with Tiger Stadium as the backdrop, and I spent many a night falling asleep to the voice of Ernie Harwell describing the action, especially the west coast trips.
But in absolutley no uncertain terms would I affix the term "ace" to any of the rotation candidates. Well, except for Bonderman who is an "ace trainee" at the present time.

I really like Bonderman....and in any other system...he would have had a good ML career....but the Tigers rushed to get him in the majors...and now he is paying the price for it....If he could get out of their system and into a system that knows how to develop players he still could be good....

I believe Bonderman has a chance to have a good career. He's only 21 years old (I think) and if the Tigers ever turn the franchise around he could definently be the ace of the staff.
Also as a Tigers fan I would appreciate it if you went light on all the wise cracks. We've already taken enough abuse. Thanks.

I am also a Tiger fan and I can say this to all of you Red Sox and Cubs fan that may be crapping on the Tigers. At least I can say I have been able to celebrate TWO WS championships in my life time. HOW MANY HAVE YOU CELEBRATED?
As they say in horse racing. Doesn't matter where you start and how long you run in first. It's how you finish.
I rest my case
